Job Description

Principle Energy and Sustainability Consultant - HousingLocation: LondonSalary: Dependent on experienceRef: TJ1088Penguin Recruitment are currently working with a global consultancy that deals with natural resources, real estate and infrastructure.This innovative and passionate team are looking for a Senior/Principle Sustainability Consultant to help them deliver ambitious and highly technical projects to their clients.The role:

  • Working closely with our clients partners in regards to CROHM
  • Provide specialist support to social housing areas
  • Delivering of specific projects with the aim to stimulate a new market whilst working at all levels from supply chain to client demand
  • Pioneer net-zero carbon retrofits
  • Developing strategies for clients and assisting them in turning these into deliverable projects
  • Supporting other senior team members
  • Working independently
  • Analysing information quickly
  • Support other members in bid writing and developing marketing material
    • The right candidate will:
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Versatility
  • Confidence
  • An understanding of delivering low carbon retrofit projects in relation to the housing sector
  • Ability to review , analyse and benchmark energy performance
  • Understanding of Energiesprong model for net-zero housing retrofit
  • Experience in applying new build energy and sustainability standards
  • Experience as a consultant or client in the housing sector
  • Knowledge and understanding of tendering and procurement processes
  • Preferably chartership or membership to a relevant body (e.g. CIBSE, EPC DEC, ESOS, IEMA etc)
