Job Description

Senior .Net Developer£60,000LondonWe are working with one of the worlds largest advertising and communication networks, due to continued growth they have asked us to invite applications for the position of Senior .Net Developer to join their team.For the right candidate this is an exciting opportunity to join an amazing team where you will contribute to the success of the organisation through the delivery of work that meets or even exceeds their customers needs. You will be able to have a directand very real sense of achievement and satisfaction at what you will be able to create.We are looking for a developer who has experience in building and upgrading large complex web applications. Ideally you will have experience in working within a Devops team and working within an Agile methodology.Essential skills:

  • Excellent C# knowledge (.NET 4.8)
  • Asp.NET MVC (HTML, AJAX, Javascript, Jquery)
  • SQL Server 2019
  • .NET 4.8
  • Bootstrap CSS JavaScript (experience of implementing responsive functionality within asp.net)
Desirable skills:
  • ASP.NET Web Forms
  • UI development exposure using ASP.NET using custom controls, Telerik
  • Source control management (GIT)
  • JIRA
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design/development of new robust solutions - continuously improving our code base and processes.
  • Develop and support existing applications, with due consideration of reusability where appropriate.
  • Bug fixing and problem resolution.
  • Ensure successful live implementations.
  • Work closely with all members of a geographically distributed agile team to deliver high-quality solutions complying to our coding standards.
  • Join daily sprints, retrospectives and communicate progress or issues
  • Drive all aspects of application design - including but not limited to high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, error logging, debugging, scalability, development environment configuration and testing.
  • Demonstrate competent knowledge of architectural methods and design patterns - OO and S.O.L.I.D principles.
  • Ability to present design options effectively along with their pros and cons.
  • Contribute to the modernisation programme strategy
  • Write data queries/reports and assisting with general data management requests
  • Strong communication skills, able to work in a team when required and independently
