Job Description

Join the Close Brothers Marketing Team where you will be responsible for designing and delivering marketing initiatives across a range of digital channels (PPC, SEO, email/content marketing, social media marketing and display advertising). You will also be solely responsible for managing the ongoing development of the Savings website, working with internal stakeholders and third parties to prioritise, test and analyse change, with a real focus on improving the customer experience. Successfully delivering projects within the agreed timeframes and budgets will be essential for succeeding in this role. RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns and product launches in B2B and B2C markets; including copywriting, communication designs and delivery of end-to-end user analytics.
  • Regularly audit customer facing collateral; conducting related competitor analysis and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Drive actionable insights through customer and market research initiatives using product media coverage, survey responses and website analytical tools.
  • Perform day to day editing and content updates to the Savings website. Liaise with external web agency to support functional development of the sites, optimise the customer journey and drive improvement in user experience.
Processes:
  • Design and administer marketing owned documentation, ensuring all collateral is compliant and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Devise and deliver SEO improvements to the website.
  • Produce, validate and submit marketing departmental statistics.
  • Draft and proof-read copy for customer communications, financial promotions and general marketing materials.
  • Ensure all online invoices are raised in the central finance system and all departmental administration is processed in a timely manner.
  • Represent the department in ad-hoc Savings wide projects, including actively contributing in meetings and completing assigned actions.
  • Manage third party aggregator relationships (i.e. Moneyfacts, Moneysupermarket, MSE) and execute any purchases.
  • Manage the continuous development and day to day running of our website, including building, and maintaining relationships with DCX and internal stakeholders.
  • Management of the website budget, ensuring spend is justified and in line with the yearly proposal.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU ARE/HAVE:
  • A minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above
  • 2+ years previous experience in digital marketing
  • Digitally literate with an inquisitive nature for latest digital trends
  • Good attention to detail and pride in creating effective marketing material
  • Ability to be flexible with a customer-centric approach to all daily tasks
  • Experienced in using website Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experienced in using analytical tools e.g. GA4 with a strong analytical mind
  • Experienced in using email marketing systems e.g. DotDigital
  • Basic Adobe Creative Suite capabilities
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ARE/HAVE:
  • Professional Marketing qualification with Chartered Institute of Marketing (or equivalent)
  • A background in Financial Services or Professional Services sector
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite capabilities
  • Creative website development skills
  • Experience in using JIRA or a similar project management tool
  • Experience in budget management
  • Working knowledge of HTML
