Role: Interim Azure Senior DevOps EngineerLocation: Hybrid - London - Remote (2 days per week in London)Rate: £375 - 450p/dIR35: Outisde IR35Contract Length: 3 MonthsResponsibilities As DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the client infrastructure and application support, ensuring minimal downtime.Youll be a hosting architecture expert, comfortable with planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining the systems and services we use to deliver web applications, supporting our developers in testing, deploying and hosting.Youll control budgets from clients, look after monitoring systems, consult with the TD on refining our hosting offering, and help meet service level agreements.Security is key to all of our applications, so youll be well versed against the OWASP Top 10 to support and test our applications (vulnerability testing and code scanning) to ensure they are fit for purpose.You will need to be very well versed with Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops as well as dedicated .Net Application Support.As the only role of its kind in our agency, you need to be driven and able to work relatively independently when needed yet able to collaborate with the broader team on solutions and comfortable with being client facing when required. Therefore, we needa candidate with similar experience in a senior position.Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience using Azure DevOps, ensuring best practice DevOps process including establishing and maintaining code repositories, CI/CD pipelines and development testing.
• Expert on Microsoft Azure infrastructure setup and implementation. In depth experience on Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS/IaaS including applying security and scalability best practices.
• Experience leveraging security features within Azure (WAF and Firewall) plus software deployment process with application security tools (e.g. SonarQube, WhiteSource Bolt)
• Experience on Application Support such as Azure Monitor and New Relic for Node.js, PHP, .Net / Core applications. Develop application maps.
• Detailed understanding of management of SSL Certificates for applications
• Understanding of the enterprise management processes - OS backup, patching, vulnerability scanning, compliance and how to achieve that in Azure.
• Experience of embedding and driving forward Dev Ops best practices and process within an organisation.

Beneficial Experience and Skills

• Microsoft certification on Azure ( AZ-104)+
• Experience with the serverless approaches using Azure Functions is benefical.
• Manage Atlassian environment (Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence)
• Experience on migration and managing databases (MSSQL, SQL server, Azure SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, Mongo DB) and running scripts
• Experience with high-scale web applications, distributed systems, and APIs
• Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco)
• Experience of working in an agency or similar environment
• Manage clients SLAs and their associated budgets for maintenance
• Understand and deliver security best practices / testing against OWASP guidelines
• Administer of SQL & IIS Stacks
