Job Description

Job Advertisement Senior DevOps Engineer - GCPUp to £75,000+15% BonusThe CompanyThis telecommunications company is a staple across the UK and Europe. They have had a large expansion in the last year and are not stopping there. This role sits within their Strategy and Architecture team.The RoleThis team is a specialist in Data and DevOps. They are known as their Centre of excellence as they play a vital part for the rest of the engineering/digital areas in the company.Other Responsibilities

  • Develop, Maintain and Optimise the CI/CD Pipelines
  • Standardise and simplify the CI/CD practices with governance and security.
  • Build monitoring tools and dashboards to track infrastructure and application performance.
  • Strengthen and maintain the monitoring and management of the build and deployment processes and infrastructure.
  • Share knowledge and be a team player.
  • Help collaborate with different teams to improve the integration and release process.
Skill/Tech
  • Strong Knowledge of GCP
  • Experience with Gitlab, Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Skilled in Infrastructure networking and security.
  • Some Python Scripting experience
  • A bonus to having experience writing CI/CD pipelines (Octopus/Jenkins)
  • 2 Days a week in an office near you(London, Manchester, Birmingham)
Salary and Benefits
  • This role offers up to £75,000 salary and a 15% bonus.
  • You can also receive a 10% pension and private medical.

  2. One Hour competency-based interview.
