Job Description

A global leading Financial Services company are looking to hire a Senior Developer / Developer Team Lead to join their London office. They are after a technically skilled lead engineer, with exceptional communication skills, to look after a team of 4 juniordevelopers and collaborate with their global teams to deliver high quality technology solutions across the world.Responsibilities include;

  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables to support business and strategic initiatives
  • Set and continually manage project milestones with team members and other stakeholders
  • Hands on testing
  • Lead the software team to deliver high quality and innovative software solutions
  • Guide and support team to identify and escalate risks as appropriate
Therefore, they are after someone who has some of the following skills/experience;
  • Leadership experience within a software delivery team
  • Experience of the full software development lifecycle in a technical delivery role
  • Proficiency in one of the following along with a working knowledge on the other, C# (.NET Framework/Core), Python, JavaScript (Node.js), CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following scripting languages; Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy
  • Knowledge in some of the following Developer tooling; Full stack CI/CD, GitLab, TFS, Jenkins, CloudBees, Jira, AWS services, AppDynamics, EKS
