The firm is a well known for providing legal and data services to business across the UK, they are looking to grow out their data team to incorporate data science at the heart of their decisions makingClient DetailsMy client is a large international company that is at the an established leader of providing legal and data information to the property sector, they have a number of divisions that aim to provide invaluable information to many different stakeholders. They are also starting an exciting journey to grow out their data science team and internalise in to become more data centric.DescriptionAs a data scientist you will have an outstanding knowledge of different tools in the field such as Python, R or other similar tools. Knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. Experience working with query languages: SQL, NoSQL, CYPHER. as well as experience with big data pipeline tools and environments: Hadoop, Kafka, Spark.You should be comfortable working with senior members of the team to establish and develop a roadmap of data science in the firm while have the technical know how to implement data processes.ProfileNecessary Skills:-Great Stakeholder Management-Previous experience leading a team-Great Knowledge of analytical tools such a Python, R and five years experience working in such a capacityGreat to haves:-Experience working with a cloud platform (Preferably AWS)-Experience working with Programing languages (I.e. Java)-Previous experience working in a DevOps environmentJob Offerthe Successful candidate will receive a generous compensation package of £50,000. Required skills
