Broster Buchanan are partnered with a cutting edge global engineering firm who are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join and be a part of a number of very exciting projects and contribute to their truly groundbreaking technology.Given the nature of the clients work, recent or active Security Clearance is essential.This role is being offered with a salary of £65k - £70k and can be worked on a hybrid pattern with 2/3 days onsite at either Birchwood, Warrington, South London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Gloucester or Bristol.Responsibilities:* Conceptualise, propose and manage data-driven projects aligned with business objectives.* Utilise advanced statistical techniques to generate actionable insights.* Implement cross-validation methods to ensure model generalisability.* Develop and communicate non-technical reports summarising project findings and limitations.* Translate data-driven insights into actionable business recommendations.* Maintain awareness of current trends in data science and related fields to ensure project relevance.Requirements:* Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing data-driven projects.* Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and modelling tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS).* Experience with data wrangling, cleaning, and pre-processing.* Ability to develop and implement machine learning algorithms.* Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.If you are interested, please click apply and share your CV.
