Job Description

Senior Data Scientist London/hybrid salary £75,000 - £85,000OVERVIEWA leading tech e-commerce company is looking for a senior data scientist to join their data science team. The company is looking to transform the way that online shopping is done, making it more sustainable and innovative. Your responsibilities as a SeniorData Scientist will include but not be limited to:

  • Building and Deploying Machine Learning models to optimize their Data Products
  • Use Machine Learning to enhance and personalise their consumers experience and deliver more effective marketing strategies
  • Build and productionise market-leading personalisation and recommendation products to enhance customer experience
  • Work with senior stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions
  • Work alongside developers and product teams to implement ML models.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEA successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following:
  • Minimum of MSc in STEM subject e.g. Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Data Science/ Machine Learning
  • Proficiency with Python, Spark, SQL and AWS
  • Solid technical ability in Personalisation/ Customer & Marketing focused Data Science
  • Experience conducting large scale AB tests
  • Understanding of statistical modelling
  • Experience productionising ML models at scale
