Job Description

A leading Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Big Data consultancy are on the lookout for a senior data scientist to join their established data, AI and ML practice on a permanent basis to support their ongoing UK, US and EU based growth. The seniordata scientist would be working with the senior technical team to define enterprise clients requirements, translating their commercial problems to data problems before designing and developing bespoke and novel solutions, and implementing those on clientand cloud based platforms.The senior data scientist would have the opportunity to work on a wide array of different projects across multiple sector (finance, automotive, retail, amongst others), with work focussing on areas such as:

  • Developing and implementing algorithms and tools to maximise customer data insights
  • Research, adapt and apply machine learning, data modelling and data mining techniques to provide actionable insights from customer data
  • Developing and implementing cutting edge Artificial Intelligence techniques to deepen analytics and insight generation, including Natural Language Processing, Neural Networks and Deep Learning
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Developing and implementing AI and ML solutions for commercial projects, delivering them to production (internally or with clients)
  • Working with stakeholders or clients as part of the project/requirement definition process, translating business requirements into technical ones
  • Proven data science expertise, developing problems (classification, regression, clustering) and algorithms (Logistic Regression, Ensemble, Random Forest etc.) for commercial and academic projects
  • Strong technical experience with Python development, and aspects of deep learning and ML Operations e.g. automatic retraining, CI/CD, logging/alerts, data auditing
Experience with the following would be beneficial:
  • Cloud based projectsAWS, GCP, Azure
  • Strong academic and research experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, applied mathematics and computing
  • Project delivery and management
  • AWS and other industry recognised technical Certifications
