Job Description

Senior Data Officer, Enrolment Management UnitSalary range: from £28,763 to £33,393 per annum (dependent on skills, experience and qualifications) Hours: 35 per week Contract type: FTC for 12 months (with possible extension)We are seeking a Senior Data Officer to provide data support to all University departments requiring alumni data and to play a central role in maintaining the Universitys on-going relationship with its global alumni community.You will coordinate the on-going maintenance and enhancement of alumni data on Raisers Edge and will be responsible for a wide range of data activity including data cleansing, verification, running complex queries and reports, data segmentation and data compliance. You will take the initiative to proactively build opportunities within the database to support the development of the alumni programme and will work closely with several teams across the University to provide accurate and up to date contact detail reports for alumni cohorts and detailed alumni data analysis reports.To be successful, you will ideally have experience working in higher education, alumni relations, charity membership programmes, local government or a similar third sector organization. You will have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Microsoft Excel) and will be confident in your ability to present information effectively to a wide range of audiences both on and offline. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively and anticipate the needs of your customers, building trust and strong relationships with your team mates and customers alike.
