An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Societys Data & Insight team for an individual to join us initially on a 12 month fixed term contract, who can champion Data Governance with business areas to maintain and continuously improve our enterprise data assets, ensuring we understand how we use our data, in a safe and compliant manner. About You We are looking for you to possess an extensive proven track record in Data Governance practices with a solid understanding of embedding Data Governance frameworks including data cataloguing, data ownership & stewardship, data quality management and data analysis. *Requirements Analysis & Prioritisation of workloads *Data Analysis *Advanced Microsoft Office suite *Experience in Data catalogues/metadata management solutions (e.g. Collibra) Awareness of using BI Tools (Cognos, PowerBI) *VBA preferred not essential *Stakeholder engagement, management and liaison (including both business and project) *Familiarity with the software development lifecycle including both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies (e.g. iterative prototyping, Kanban, Scrum) *Training and support of MI & Data Analysts If you have the necessary experience, a drive to succeed and want be part of an organisation that our employees are proud to work for, then please do not delay in making an application.
