Senior Data EngineerLocation: RemoteRate: £600-£640PDDuration: 6 monthsIR35: OutsideWe are looking for 2 Senior Data Engineers to join a growing team at a leading media publishing company.You will sit as part of a team of data engineers responsible for the data lake of customer data for the business.RoleResponsible for maintaining and building on the existing data platform around content recommendations, and coordinating technological work in line with the higher level strategies around customer experience and value.You will have deep experience working on high volume streaming services, as well as building API endpoints using low latency AWS technologies. Skills- AWS cloudformation and infrastructure as code- AWS serverless oriented architecture- Python or Node / JavaScript to work on building a Data Bus / Services & APIs (essential)- Streaming services like Kafka (nice to have)- Have built and supported multiple high volume message services utilising technologies such as: AWS SNS, SQS, EventBridge and Kinesis.
