Job Description

Senior Data Engineer needed for this market leading organisation. Working as part of a well established Data Engineering team the role is broad and includes a good mix of:

  • Leading and managing technical projects with a focus on data engineering, demonstrating exceptional project management skills.
  • Extensive use of Python, Spark, and Glue for developing and maintaining robust data pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-native data platforms and infrastructure as code practices, particularly with AWS CDK.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Applying Agile methodologies in project management and software development.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in leading technical projects in data engineering.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and Glue.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CDK).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively across various teams.
  • A solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
