Job Description

FULLY REMOTE- Digital Media- £80 000- Senior Data EngineerI am currently working with a client in the Digital Media market who is looking for someone with4-5 yearsexperience to join their fully remote (hybrid available) team as a Senior Data Engineer!My client aims to creates solutions and software for digital publishing businesses. Their mission is to empower digital publishers to create content worth sharing.They are reimagining how digital publishers can use data to power their business, make better decisions, and increase operational efficiencies and revenue.What youll do:You should enjoy problem-solving and have a curiosity to learn new skills and tackle unfamiliar problems. A core aspect of my clients platform is building an automated analytics solution with ML/AI capabilities. As such, an interest in data or Machine Learningis highly valuable for the Data Engineer role but not required. The main responsibilities include:

  • Develop data pipelines to the database and frontend application (via APIs).
  • Extract patterns from large datasets using statistical analysis.
  • Deploy algorithms that power our analytics and recommendations solutions (MLOps).
  • We build models using text data, Google Trends, and Twitter APIs, etc.
  • Support your colleagues through the design, contribution, and peer review code.
  • Passionate about working with large structured and unstructured data sets.
What you need:
  • Proficient in Programming with Python.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • 2+ years experience in SQL or Snowflake
  • 2+ years experience in AWS.
  • The ability to think on your feet and take ownership for your work.
