Job Description

SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT WELL KNOWN MEDIA BRANDLONDON£80.000-90,000One of the UKs most well recognised Media brands are looking to bring 2 new senior developers and a Data Architect on board to help with a major data platforming project off the back of their AWS Data Lake buildTHE COMPANYThis is one of the most recognised brands in media in the UK and Globally and has a presence across multiple channels and territoriesTHE ROLEIf you were to be successful in your application for this Senior Data Architect role your responsibilities would include:

  • They will be working with the key stakeholders to understand the data flows within the organisation and the stakeholders needs
  • Assessing the logical and physical data models required to deliver this
  • This will be heavily working with stakeholders and data modelling work with less of a focus on the enterprise or infrastructure architecture
  • Enabling the build of a greenfield data warehouse which sits on top of their existing data lake and allows the teams to deliver effective analytics
    • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIn order for your application for the Senior Data Architect to be successful you will need;
  • Strong background in hands on SQL coding
  • Good knowledge of data architecture and logical/conceptual / physical data modelling (enterprise wide, not just for one business area)
  • Good knowledge of cloud based datqa architectures
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding of anaytics requirements and what needs to happen data side to enable effective BI and Analytics
