Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data AnalystLondon/Gibraltar - Remote - FlexibleSalary: £50,000-60,000Our client is an FTSE 100 company recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst who thrives in fast-paced, multi-project environments. They are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who will actively contribute to the development and implementation of BI and reportingbusiness across an internationally regarded business.THE COMPANY:Our client is an international sports betting and gambling company looking to expand its BI and analytics strategy to facilitate the promotion of Safer Gambling practices. They are looking for an Analyst with a keen interest or previous experience withinthe gaming industry.THE ROLE: Our client is recruiting for a Senior Data Analysis who will work collaboratively with the Compliance team to develop and pilot the use of analytical applications and tools. This is a great role for someone looking for more ownership in Business Intelligenceprojects and loves engaging with a variety of stakeholders.In this role you will:

  • Develop business intelligence reports for the Compliance team in Tableau (or Power BI)
  • Work collaboratively with the Compliance Analytics team to develop and pilot the application of analytical tools
  • Apply predictive and automated models developed by the central BI team to identify business inefficiencies, opportunities and identify possibilities of implementing Safer Gambling practices.
  • Present actionable insight to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Promote data usage to non-technical teams and key internal stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:To qualify for the job role, you will require:
  • An advanced level of SQL demonstrated in 3 years of commercial experience
  • An advanced level of Excel demonstrated in 3 years of commercial experience
  • MSc in any analytical subject (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science etc)
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Experience in cloud technology (GCP preferred)
  • Experience with scripting automated ETL processes using R (or Python)
  • Online, eCommerce or Gambling experience is strongly preferred
  • Confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders and orchestrating multiple BI projects
