Job Description

Senior Cyber Incident ManagerLondon - Fully Remote£700 - £800p/d - Umbrella Only12 MonthsFantastic new opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Incident Manager for this market leading financial services business. You will be joining the business at the start of a major programme of work to consolidate several different SIEM solutions/providersinto one overarching SIEM solution/provider. This will be a programme / project delivery focussed role as opposed to a BAU operational management role. You will own the cyber security incident management process from end to end for all highly critical incidentsthat require stakeholder engagement up to board level. You will also be responsible for the delivery of the new solution from a cyber security incident management perspective.Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience leading and owning significant security incidents delivering effective and timely response measures through a coordinated and structured approach.
  • Experience working with wider CISO teams to ensure that incidents are appropriately assessed, categorised, and triaged.
  • Experience performing incident related cyber risk management and root cause analysis, ensuring effective threat remediation and aiding the prevention of re-occurrence.
  • Experience conducting trend analysis and maintaining a level of cyber threat & situational awareness to protect the business and its global markets.
  • Experience providing written and verbal briefings to key stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Experience managing and coordinating Post Incident Review (PIR) sessions, effectively improving the incident management service whilst also improving business operations.
  • Strong knowledge of security incident response & management best practices and industry standards/frameworks.
  • Experience of developing and producing incident response processes, wider security documentation and technical playbooks.
  • Experience supporting and delivering cyber security projects acting as an SME regarding incident management.
