Job Description

Position: Senior Cyber Security Engineer Location: Home / Leeds Salary: Up To GBP75,000About the Role:Are you a dynamic and genuine leader with a passion for all things Microsoft If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure. Youll be at the forefront of our clients security efforts,serving strong, high–profile customers in cutting–edge industries.As the most senior member of our clients Security engineering team, youll play a pivotal role with the potential for career growth into senior consultancy or architecture. Our clients work environment combine the advantages of a small to medium–sized companywith the prestige of servicing significant clients.Key Responsibilities:Microsoft Security Expertise: You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Security, collaborating with internal teams and clients. Your responsibilities will include advising, onboarding, engineering, and monitoring Microsoft Security as aservice.Key Skills:

    • Microsoft Azure Sentinel
    • Microsoft Defender
    • M365 Security, O365, Endpoint, Email Security, etc.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CCSP) are highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
Your Duties:
    1. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go–to resource for all Microsoft cyber security–related matters.
    2. System Security: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems, networks, and applications.
    3. Policy Development: Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    4. Incident Response: Act as a key resource during cyber security incidents, providing expertise in incident handling, containment, eradication, and recovery.
    5. Technical Support: Provide expert–level technical support
