Job Description

I am currently recruiting a Senior Credit Controller to work for a global Cosmetics agency. This is a permanent role based in Central London.Client DetailsMy client is a global Cosmetics company based in Central London. They are an established company and one of the leading ones in their field.Due to recent acquisitions within the business, they are now looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their team and head up one of their growing businesses.The role will be based in Central London but they offer hybrid working.This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Credit Controller to gain supervisory experience.DescriptionThe senior Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Reconciling and posting daily cash receipts including cheques, BACS, Direct Debits, and recurring cards charges
  • Chasing all overdue clients in a timely manner and in accordance with the credit control chase cycle
  • Sending out reminder letters and statements on a regular basis
  • Managing own time to ensure that all tasks are completed in line with the credit control chase cycle
  • Achieving cash, aged debt targets and call targets
  • Escalating non-payment issues or unresolved queries to AR Manager in a timely manner
  • Managing collections from affiliates by completing reconciliations and liaising with the relevant internal departments to ensure that any necessary credits are raised
  • Issuing Final Demand notices and preparing files for referral to Debt Collection Agency
  • Raising and issuing of Weekly/Monthly/Bespoke Invoices
ProfileThe successful candidate must have worked within a FMCG industry and have some experience of supervising junior members of staff.Job OfferMy client is looking to offer a salary of £38,000 -£40,000 depending on experience.
