The ClientA pioneering ethical investment firm who are growing their Fixed Income team.The RoleThe Senior Credit Analyst will conduct Credit analytical research of financial instruments including financial modelling, to inform Investment decision making and will provide Investment recommendations to fund managers for long-term sustainable outperformanceand growth.The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for undertaking Fixed Income & Credit research into geographical, sectoral or macro led topics of interest, and will produce written reports on the funds, investment markets or on wider topics of financial interest.The Senior Credit Analyst will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on business development activities and be proactive in promoting and marketing the Fixed Income funds and retaining and developing new business .The Senior Credit Analyst will liaise with internal and external investment analysts and other representatives to inform Fixed Income research and will work closely with ESG screening, where appropriate.The Senior Credit Analyst will engage with issuers, attend roadshows, participate in PR initiatives such as pitches and presentations, attend client meetings and produce related reports and editorial.The Senior Credit Analyst will regularly update notes on the internal research database , demonstrating rationale behind investment recommendations as well as assist in refining and embedding the investment performance reporting process across all portfolios.The Senior Credit Analyst will stay abreast of current events with the financial sector and other macro factors that may impact current and potential Investment Fixed Income Funds.The Candidate4 years + Credit Research / Fixed Income research experience, ideally from buy-side and or credit rating agency backgroundCFA qualifications or working towards.Ability to assess and interpret and analyse complicated financial information within Fixed Income and Credit markets.Able to work effectively under pressure/accurate/attention to detail /good numeracy skillsExcellent knowledge of Bloomberg (data extraction and report writing)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf assured and self motivated
