Job Description

We are partnered with a specialist consultancy firm who focus on consulting the charities and not-for-profit sector.This specialist consultancy are looking to bring in a Senior Consultant (to focus on Data, Digital, and/or Technology) to lead on consultancy projects, providing the required technical knowledge and consultancy skills to clients.If you are experienced in IT / Data / Digital leadership and strategic planning and you are looking to get into consulting, then this could be a fantastic role for you.What will you be doing

  • As a Senior Consultant you will be leading on consultancy engagements and working with team members to plan and deliver work to a high standard and within budget
  • You will have clients that you will need to manage the day to day relationships with and keep clients informed of progress
  • Your role will include you conducting meetings and facilitating workshops, preparing documentation, and writing up notes in an appropriate format (e.g., reports) when required
  • Part of your role as Senior Consultant will involve you undertaking research of various types to support consultancy engagements
  • You will also help to ensure the firms records are current, accurate, and complete
  • Youll be responsible for monitoring and controlling progress and cost against proposal and budget
  • As a Senior Consultant you will be a prime point of contact with clients and advise clients on relevant matters of interest in their sector
  • Youll be expected to support and contribute to marketing initiatives and events as appropriate
  • You may also be undertaking other work for Partners when required
What do you need to apply for this role
  • Experience of IT / Digital / Data leadership and management
  • Experience of strategic planning for IT / Digital / Data and business systems, including planning and delivering systems to help meet strategic and operational business objectives
  • Experience of IT systems procurement and supplier management
  • Experience of reviewing business processes and operating procedures, identifying practical options for improving them and then managing the change associated with implementations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • It would be ideal if you have knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and the drivers and issues for clients in relation to digital / data / technology and information systems
This role can be based remotely with occasional travel to client offices and attending meetings in London and elsewhere when required by clients.
