Your role Our practitioners work across a variety of projects to solve healthcare and life science clients toughest data problems by combining industry experience, consulting and analytical skills; with deep understanding of technology and capabilities to create a lasting impact. Whether it is structuring, assuring, managing, developing or delivering technology solutions, we need the very best people to join us and strengthen our Healthcare and Life Sciences team even further. That is where you come in. Our projects and clients vary greatly and your responsibility as a Senior Consultant will differ slightly based on the focus of the client engagement and your skillsets, but typical responsibilities could include: • Helping our Healthcare and Life Sciences clients define their long term Data Strategy to ensure that data is managed and used as a valuable asset • Working with our clients to understand the Data Governance needs in their organisation and specific to their industry • Undertaking business of technical requirements gathering, client interviewing, facilitating workshops, documentation of processes and process assessment, and effectively communicating these to various audiences • Engage in both advisory and delivery projects, from defining clients transformation strategies, to supporting the full lifecycle of delivery projects • Take responsibility for the development of client deliverables • Manage a small team to complete a discrete piece of client work • Advise clients on appropriate Data Governance, Data Catalogue and Data Quality tooling based on your expertise in specific technologies • Defining a clients to-be state, which will involve the design of Data Governance Target Operating Models (TOM) through which data is efficiently managed within the organization, securing its trust and accountability • Assessing and improving the clients Data Quality measures and processes • Analysing metamodels and data sets and define a Data Catalogue of key data assets within a Big Data / Cloud Analytics platform • Own the development of content for client bids and contribute to presentations of proposals • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional and international clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting roles but we make arrangements respectfully; there may be some opportunity for working from home depending on client and project demands. Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time / part-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Your professional experience We are looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills and experience who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work. • Managing projects, work streams or teams and taking responsibility for team or project deliverables • Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Have a keen interest in data and experience of operating in a client or business facing role • Competent use of Microsoft packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Strong written, communication and presentation skills Candidates will hold work experience in some of the following areas: • Life Sciences and / or Healthcare industry or client experience • Familiarity with approaches used to define a (Data) Strategy • Data / Information Governance principles and familiarity with processes and policies • Process improvement, Process and Operating Model design and requirements / information gathering techniques. • Data Quality management, Master Data Management processes and Data Profiling • Data Catalogue, metadata management and Data Governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Information Axon, Elation, etc) • Data Integration and Data Migration (including ETL / ELT and tools such as Informatica) • Data Privacy, Protection and Security experience, and knowledge of regulatory / statutory requirements impacting Data Management for Healthcare and Life Sciences clients • Records and Document Management experience and technologies used to help manage information (and data) throughout a lifecycle • Project Management experience of both waterfall and agile delivery approaches • Business and Data Analysis skills • Business Intelligence and Reporting and associated tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik) Your service line: Consulting Our people and the way we work are the two things that set us apart in the consulting universe.
