Your roleOur practitioners work across a variety of projects to solve healthcare and life science clients toughest data problems by combining industry experience, consulting and analytical skills; with deep understanding of technology and capabilities to create a lasting impact. Whether it is structuring, assuring, managing, developing or delivering technology solutions, we need the very best people to join us and strengthen our healthcare and life science team even further. That is where you come in. Our projects and clients vary greatly and your responsibility as a Senior Consultant will differ slightly based on the focus of the client engagement and your skillsets, but typical responsibilities could include: • Work with our healthcare and life science clients to understand the data and analytics needs in their organisation - undertaking requirements gathering, client interviewing, documentation of processes and process assessment, and effectively communicating these to various audiences • Engage in both advisory and delivery projects, from defining clients transformation strategies, to supporting the full lifecycle of delivery projects • Take responsibility for the development of client deliverables • Design or build part of a data solution such as an ETL component, data warehouse or reporting solution, data virtualisation implementation • Manage a small team to complete a discrete piece of client work • Advise clients on appropriate tooling for a particular solution based on your expertise in specific technologies • Conduct stakeholder interviews or lead client workshops to capture business or technical requirements for a data solution • Own the development of content for client bids and contribute to presentations of proposals • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution Your work, your choiceAt Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location:You will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel may be required for client based projects. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional and international clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting roles but we make arrangements respectfully; there may be some opportunity for working from home depending on client and project demands. Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time / part-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Your professional experienceWe are looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills and experience who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work. • Managing projects, workstreams or teams and taking responsibility for team or project deliverables • Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Competent use of Microsoft packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Strong written, communication and presentation skills Candidates will hold work experience in some of the following areas:• Healthcare and/or life science industry or client experience • Data Integration (including ETL / ELT, and tools such as Informatica) • Cloud Analytics (Azure, GCP, AWS including RDS, S3, DMS, Glue) • Data Migration • Master Data Management • Business Intelligence and Reporting and associated tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik) • Data Warehousing (Oracle) • Data Virtualisation • Big Data Engineering • Automation • Data Strategy • Business and Data Analysis • Data Platform Modernisation and associated tools e.g. Databricks Candidates will have hands on experience with one or more technologies relevant to these areas.
