What you ideally need is a Senior ComplianceManager position that will then allow you to make that next step up.Heres your chance. This firm is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Manager who can develop with the business and ultimately become their first Head of Compliance. This is an ideal opportunity to step up and show what you can do. Youll have plenty of autonomybut also have the support of a very experienced COO who currently holds both SMF16 and SMF17 (and who has also done so previously) and a leading external Compliance consultancy.Working closely with the Leadership team, youll be responsible for providing Compliance leadership and guidance for the business, as they continue to develop and launch new products. Youll ensure the firm is kept abreast of any regulatory changes, assessingtheir impact and responding accordingly.Youll also monitor and identify compliance and conduct risks across the entire business and also assist the MLRO with ongoing Financial Crime Compliance.Youll be working for a next generation FinTech that is being built from the ground up specifically for its customers. Already FCA authorised, the firm is in the process of applying for new permissions as they seek to launch new products next year. It reallyis an exciting time to be joining.Youll be an experienced Compliance specialist with experience in the mortgages arena (a good working knowledge of MCOB regulations is essential) and the ability to balance governance and commerciality.Youll also be happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. As the first dedicated Compliance hire for the business, the role will be very hands-on.
