Job Description

Senior Complex Case TherapistLocation: The Corner School, Wembley, LondonSalary: Circa £40K (pro-rata to term time/part time working, plus paid holiday entitlement)Manager: This role will report to the Clinical Director and work closely with the Head TeacherAbout the RoleThis is an exciting role for a Senior Child Therapist who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. You would be joining The Corner School working closely with school leadership, teaching and support staff, and a team of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists to improve our children’s emotional wellbeing and help them to thrive.You will contribute to a trauma informed, psychotherapeutic understanding of the children and families throughout the school, promoting the ethos of trauma informed practice and wellbeing within the school community and home-school partnerships.In this role, you will draw on your experience as a qualified therapist alongside your excellent organisational and relationship management skills to effectively lead the therapeutic work, working flexibly and responsively within the school to create strong outcomes for our children. You will be liaising with parents and carers, attending multi-agency meetings, providing advice, guidance and consultation to colleagues and external agencies, and working closely with the Clinical Director to monitor and evaluate the impact of therapeutic work within the school.Please see the full JD or for further details, please visit our website.Hours of workTerm-Time only (40 weeks), flexible hours as agreed with postholderOption of a Part Time (min 3 days pw) or Full Time (with clinical work across the wider charity) role availableClosing Date: 10am on Monday 24th August 2020.
