As a senior commercial manager, the post holder will oversee and manage contract negotiations and post contract commercial management for a sub-programme (sub-programme examples being professional services, a cohort or high value scheme) within the capitalworks programme. They will deliver the provision of a robust, efficient, effective, high quality, professional and well co-ordinated contract management service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and requirements ensuring alignment with the key priorityactivities of the programme.The role will focus on supporting the delivery of continuous improvement through measurable efficiencies (cost and operational delivery) and providing valuable market insights.The role will adapt over time in response to the changing needs of the programme and accordingly may involve line management, coaching and development of a sub- team, to deliver robust commercial contracts which ensure delivery at the optimum cost, maximisingvalue.
