Job Description

A unique opportunity to join a world-leading organisation near St as a Senior Cloud Engineer. This is a newly created role due to growth and is key to the continued success and development of cloud services.This organisation are modernising their technology foundations, and digitising processes to transform the experience for the 50,000 users they currently support.What youll be doing:

  • Performing general systems installations and maintenance of central services
  • Implementing the most optimal cloud-based solutions
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives
  • Monitoring and fine tuning Cloud services, relating to system performance, resource utilisation and cost efficiencies
  • Using your extensive knowledge in scripting and APIs to automate system management tasks and Cloud Automation activities
What youll need:
  • Demonstrable experience and practical knowledge of -
    • Administering Windows and Unix based server operating systems
    • Administering services as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
    • OS installation - on-premises and multi-cloud
    • Directory and Authentication technologies (Active Directory / Azure)
    • Networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
    • Large scale enterprise environments, across multi-cloud
    • Running services within a multi-data centre environment (on-premises & public cloud)
