GUY’S AND ST. THOMAS’ HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUSTGastroenterology Senior Clinical Fellow in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Bowel DiseaseNodal Point – 4 - £49,036 p.a excl. LZFull Time – 40 hours per weekFixed Term – 12 monthsApplications are invited for a senior fellow in gastrointestinal endoscopy and bowel disease post for twelve months at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high quality upper and lower endoscopy and gain experience with training in one or more complex endoscopic procedures depending on their needs. There will also be an opportunity for tertiary care level training in luminal subspecialties such as the inflammatory bowel disease team or nutrition team depending on their training needs. This will help in furthering a career in gastroenterology with an interest in luminal endoscopy, colorectal disease and/or IBD and is available to applicants who want to take time out of programme or for post CCT candidates.This is an opportunity to join a dynamic gastroenterology team in a highly supportive environment. The successful candidates would contribute to the provision of endoscopic services for both in and outpatients and contribute to the gastroenterology bleed on call rota (1 in 8). There are no general medical on call commitments in this post.We offer a wide range of endoscopy services to inpatients and outpatients with gastrointestinal disorders including oesophageal and colonic endotherapy (e.g. HALO RFA, endoscopic mucosal resections, complex colonic polypectomies), capsule endoscopy and oesophageal pathophysiology.
