Job Description

Senior Claims Delegated Authority Technician (12 Month FTC)LondonCirca £56,000We are currently looking for a Senior Claims Delegated Authority Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established and very highly regarded Lloyds syndicate.Reporting into the Claims Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be an advocate for change, helping to innovate and create efficiencies within the team, whilst also providing Senior Delegated Authority support.This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.Key Responsibilities

  • Acting in a supporting role to the Claims Operations Manager, as a first point of contact for Claims Delegated Authority queries from more junior member of the Claims Operations team.
  • Ensuring that the Claims Delegated Authority Framework complies with Lloyd’s Minimum Standards.
  • Responding to internal and external stakeholder enquiries.
  • Supporting the development and coaching of junior members of the Claims Operations Team.
  • Supporting the Claims Operations Manager through attendance at various internal / external committees or seminars.
  • Identifying DA related process efficiencies, working with the wider Claims Operations team to carry out problem solving activities and promote process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide day to day capacity and support for the tasks conducted by the Delegated Authority Technician, including:
    • - Supporting the on-boarding and renewal of new TPAs and Coverholders.- Reviewing and maintaining due-diligence submissions of all DCAs.- Ensuring both TPAs and Coverholders meet SLAs and KPIs, monitoring performance.- Coordinating TPA audits and performance reviews.- Assisting with any DA / Conduct Risk regulatory returns.- Assisting with loss fund management.- Conducting bordereaux management and reporting.Key Requirements
  • Experience of managing Delegated Authority Claims within a Lloyd’s Managing Agent.
  • Excellent knowledge of Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and Lloyd’s Insurance Company (Europe) requirements for delegated business.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience of handling and analysing data, and report creation (both written and pictorial).
  • Experience of initiating and implementing change.
  • Full working knowledge of end to end Delegated Authority Claims process.
  • Experience of managing complex contractual requirements.
  • ACII qualified or studying towards it.
  • Familiarity with DDM and AiMS.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Intermediate Microsoft Word skills.
