Our client, a growing insurance company, have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Professional Lines Claims Adjuster. The role will focus on U.S. Professional Indemnity claims and applicants will need to have some U.S. PI claims experience. Prior UK Solicitors PI and Construction PI claims experience would also be useful. Job Purpose1. Accountable & responsible for all Professional Lines US claims via referral and directly, along with portfolio management & proven capability of claims management of all Professional Lines classes: UK Solicitors PI, Cyber, Construction PI (Financial Institutions & D&O in the future)2. Manage resource to provide proactive delivery of first-class claims experience to clients, brokers and internal stakeholders in adherence with all company guidelines, claims philosophy and procedures3. Subject matter expert providing specialist knowledge of US (and other jurisdiction) Professional Lines claims as required with regard to US Attorney E&O & other classes written under Professional Lines unit: Construction PI, Cyber, UK Solicitors PI 4. To actively monitor accounts in partnership with Underwriters & provide claims insights in order to develop/retain profitable businessJob ResponsibilitiesManagement and handling of claims arising from responsible line of business and arising from other classes where appropriate as per business requirements, from FNOL to settlement promptly, with due consideration of subrogation where appropriate and tight costs control.Be the point of reference and subject matter expert for Professional Lines US claims. Further, to liaise with other branch claims colleagues to ensure consistent levels of claims service are provided and to promote standardized processes for relevant lines of business.Actively participate in quality and cost control management of expert service providers performance relevant to responsible lines of business.
