We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a prestigious consultancy in Central London on a flexible working arrangement. As the selected candidate you will be working on a range of exciting projects.Role Undertake flood risk assessment, highways and infrastructure design, surface/foul water drainage design including SuDs, utility co-ordination and earthworks analysis to DMRB, MfS, SHW, Sewers for Adoption and Local Authority Standards. Fee proposal development and contract review Training and direction of graduate engineers and junior draftspersons. Undertake Project scheduling, programming and monitoring. Responsible for the delivery of projects in accordance with client requirements, on time, within budget and in compliance with company processes and procedures. Undertake Client, project team and stakeholder liaison and consultation /coordination. Service coordination with statutory undertakers and the like. Attendance at project/stakeholder meetings. Prepare agendas and minutes of meetings Promoting and highlighting environmental/ecological considerations. Prepare design and construction drawings for technical approval, tender and construction, to include S278/38, 104 and 106 technical agreements As Project Leader, monitor and control project costs and forecasting Responsible for change control and undertake negotiation and preparation of fee variations. Prepare survey scoping documents, specifications, and technical notes/reports Managing outsourcing and insourcing of design and documentation.Responsibilities Execution of all items listed in duties. Delivery of innovative and value-added engineering solutions. Maintenance of "team" environment in London office in conjunction with Director and Associate Director. Project performance against budget including revenue, margin and contribution targets. Continuing development of personnel under your direction. Technical excellence of projects under your direction. Implementation of Quality System throughout London Civil Department.
