Job Description

This is a permanent post as a Senior Clinical Specialist in the Lewisham CAMHS Neurodevelopment Service (NDT). The successful candidate will have specialist skills in mental health assessment and treatment of children and young people with comorbid mental health disorders and complex neurodevelopmental issues, expertise in supervision and an interest in service development.We also welcome Job share or Part Time working for this post.Part of the role may be based in the Community Paediatrics team as part of their ASD assessment clinics. Previous experience of ASD assessments and recognised training in ASD assessment tools (such as ADOS) would be beneficial.The post holder will offer individual supervision and facilitate clinical discussion groups as required. The post holder will have an overview of the clinical input to young people within NDT including the care pathway.The post holder will also have responsibilities as a senior clinician within the service. This post will suit a candidate who is keen to support NDT service development within our busy CAMHS service. The candidate will have experience of working in NDT CAMHS as a clinician and a supervisor.Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2).
