Job Description

Senior Business System Analyst - £600 - £650 per dayOur client is a worldwide leader in next-generation cybersecurity, protecting more than 500,000 organizations and millions of consumers in more than 150 countries from todays most advanced cyberthreats.This role offers the opportunity to work in an exciting, open and collaborative environment as part of the IT Application Services team. The successful candidate will be working as part of the "Enterprise Data and Analytics" team to engage with differentstakeholders to deliver in-depth business requirements, data analysis and actionable insights across all platforms to support various Teams (i.e product, finance, marketing and sales).The role holder is required to have strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouse, Data analytics and Business intelligence reportingSkills & ExperienceEssential:

  • Strong experience in business intelligence applications including databases, data warehouses and reporting tools.
  • A demonstrable understanding of Master Data, Reference Data, Data Quality and Data Governance and the ability to apply understanding to requirements definition
  • Able to demonstrate and understanding of the importance and role of Data Modelling and ability to represent data using standard modelling techniques
  • Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies, tools and processes for business and process analysis.
  • The ability to weigh critical, well-informed trade-offs and have the data points to defend those decisions.
  • Strong collaboration skills to interface successfully with a broad variety of stakeholders across multiple time zones and functional domains.
  • Interpretation of data: use a variety of data sources to tell the story in simple terms, identifying patterns/trends to unlock opportunities to deliver cost opportunities and maximise the sustainability impact.
  • Experience with BI skills for the analysis and development of interactive dashboards and reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable:
  • Experience with SQL queries & ETL (such as Informatica or Matillion)
  • Experience with data lake and data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake
  • Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Experience designing and managing end-to-end business reporting, from data sourcing and mapping, through to the production and delivery of reports
