Job Description

Job Title Senior Business Functional Analyst- OTC Derivatives Clearing Technology Location London Corporate Title Assistant Vice President OTC Derivatives Clearing Technology sits within the Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) Business, which is aligned to the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Technology division. You will play an important role in delivering Technology change for the OTC Rates, Credit, FX (Foreign Exchange) Clearing Business. You will be responsible for managing deliveries and analysing/defining front to back clearing requirements with our External/ Business/Ops/Technology stakeholders, while coordinating and managing the delivery through the project tollgates into production. You must also become knowledgeable in the front-to-back clearing workflows and the respective Technology Applications across multiple functional areas (Trade Capture, Regulatory, Risk, Collateral, Client Reporting & Billing, Settlements, CCP Connectivity, TradeMessaging, CCP reporting, Data aggregation/ storage, data provision to downstream functions). Your key responsibilities
  • Understanding global business and technology workflows, Technology application functionality and architecture
  • Collaborating with the Business, Operation and Technology Stakeholders to capture business requirements and define the technical changes required and resolving prioritisation/ delivery timeline conflicts
  • Documentation including process & data modelling, problem solving and analysis
Your skills and experience
  • Experience as a Technical Delivery/Project Manager/Functional or Business Analyst in an Investment Banking and/or Retail Finance environment
  • Experience in working on large scale and complex deliverables spanning across multiple functions, workflows and stakeholders
  • Preferable (not mandatory), demonstrate experience and knowledge in OTC (Credit and Rates) Derivative products, Clearing and respective workflows/ functions involved
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines and adapt communication styles (written and verbal) across business and technical disciplines
  • Experience in complex infrastructure and enterprise software platforms with excellent SQL knowledge, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) development practices and tools, experience of business process modelling and ETL (Extract, transform, load) platforms.Preferable (not mandatory) knowledge of Oracle and Java
