Job Description

The Senior Business Development Manager is a very exciting role with huge opportunity, varied and dynamic areas of responsibilities, which will have a direct impact on the scaling of the company by growing both new and existing business.This role is multifaceted and will suit someone who is commercially driven, hungry to hit targets, but also wants variety and creativity in their day to day work.Client DetailsMy client is the first ever Starter Kit focused brand, empowering customers to start something new and help them navigate the first steps of their new endeavours.They are equipping their customers with curated Starter Kits. from Student Kits, Kitchen Essentials to Pottery & Crafts - building their confidence beyond the box, through easily accessible content and support for their journey, no matter how big or small.DescriptionAs the ideal candidate, youll be used to creating opportunities, setting calls and meetings, quickly identifying customers needs, developing quotes and proposals accordingly, and closing sales. Were seeking someone who is eager to carve out a path forthemselves and build out a high performing commercial B2B and partnerships function.Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, identify opportunities and build a pipeline of prioritised prospects to hit quarterly and annual targets
  • Drive revenue through establishing and nurturing existing relationships with clients
  • Develop key internal processes and identify resources required to scale the function, adapting and iterating as the function grows
  • Lead on exciting commercial & brand partnership projects, and collaborate with relevant internal teams to deliver on time and budget
  • Work closely with the Buying team on customised quotes, and relaying product feedback from the customers
  • Work closely with our Marketing Department to develop required marketing collateral and B2B campaigns to generate inbound leads.
  • Work with partners on referral opportunities to drive incremental revenue
ProfileAbout YouWhat were looking for
  • At least 3-4 years experience in Business Development and Sales
  • Proven track record of developing, managing and executing strategic deals independently
  • Highly organised and incredible attention to detail
  • Self-starter, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience within eCommerce is advantageous.
  • Meticulous in your approach with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude, full of ideas and work well under pressure, working independently to draw conclusions and take action.
  • Change (and sometimes chaos!) doesnt faze youas a startup and a growing team we pride ourselves in our agility and ability to change direction and our job tasks as needed.
