A progressive international law firm with a focus on private capital is seeking a highly experienced Business Development professional, looking for their next career step, to formulate and execute business development and marketing plans and campaigns fortheir Private Client division and relevant business groups.With day to date management and development responsibilities for two Business Development Managers and a Business Development Coordinator and working closely with the wider BD, Marketing and Communications teams, the successful applicant will need to usetheir extensive knowledge of the legal market to support strategic BD decisions. Working agilely and keeping track of major market legal developments, you will be responsible for the development, review and update of strategic business planning and budgetingmaterials. Acting as a champion for the firms CRM system, you will support the firm’s Key Account Programme and targeting process and lead on some relationship initiatives. You will also work closely with the firm’s Private Office to unlock opportunitiesfor the wider Private Client division and undertake and champion client listening and client feedback within the division. The Senior Business Development Manager will be a leading figure within the Private Client division on the pitching process, from pre-pitchstrategic discussion to document production and advice and will be expected to lead on pitch meetings and provide advice throughout the pitch process. On the marketing side, the role holder will oversee the legal directories and award submissions process,support the production, distribution, analysis and reporting on digital newsletters, legal updates and other direct mailings, work with fee earners and the PR team on the coordination of PR activity and plan, carry out, analyse and report on targeted eventssuch as seminars, webinars, podcasts, workshops, receptions and other client hospitality.A committed team-player with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to engage colleagues at every level in projects and initiatives, the Senior Business Development Manager will have a proven track record of delivering results and targets tostrict deadlines in a legal environment.
