This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and accomplished Business Development professional to join a dynamic international law firm to support and advise the Financial Industry Group, which is the firms largest industry group.The position sits within a growing and energetic firm-wide business development and marketing team and represents a great opportunity to work closely with other business development professionals. In this London-based role, the Senior Business DevelopmentExecutive will work closely with lawyers in London, Europe and the Middle East, as well as select US lawyers. You will primarily be responsible for coordinating and implementing business development activities and supporting strategies across the firm. Workingclosely with US and EME counterparts to maintain an international approach to BD, you will manage EME aspects of the FIG budget and prepare and present business development activity reports, briefing partners and fee earners on relevant marketing activities.The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with duties including updating and executing strategic business plans, analysing and assessing market developments, identifying and pursuing opportunities to develop new and existing clients and working onpitch and proposal opportunities. From a marketing perspective, the role holder will coordinate legal directory submissions, manage events, design and implement thought leadership and content plans and work with the PR team and external PR firm on profileraising initiatives and with the campaigns team to develop campaigns designed to grow business.The successful candidate will have previous experience in a marketing or business development position within a law or professional services environment and should be educated to degree level or equivalent, with some experience of client facing activities.The Senior Business Development Executive must possess a high degree of confidence in liaising with people at all levels across geographies and time zones, outstanding oral and written communication skills and a willingness to suggest ideas to senior partnersand lawyers.
