Job Description

Senior Business Change Manager - £75-80,000 + 20% bonus - Hybrid (1 day in HQ)Our client is a global Travel business that is implementing a change management CoE to support a commercial digital transformation, a cross-functional strategic programme which is the largest in their history. The key objectives is to place business changefront-and-centre of all planned activity and transform the culture and ways of working across the company to drive greater outcomes for customers.This role has accountability for the leadership of all Business Change initiatives within the Programme and linking to other key initiatives within the company. The position will manage a small team of business change professionals responsible for the design,development and delivery of all Change Management activities for the programme including behavioural change.The role:Reporting into the Head of Change, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing comprehensive change strategies, change plans and execution by applying a structured Change Management methodology to multiple, complex, cross-functional transformational programmes across several dimensions (vision, change readiness,impact assessments, stakeholder management, sponsor plan, communication, role-based training plans, etc.)
  • Driving changes to operating model to deliver capabilities required at key milestones in their corporate and business plans.
  • Management, facilitation, and support to cross functional teams to design and deliver key capability uplifts, including direct support and coaching to all levels of senior management as they help their people through change and transition.
  • Conducting culture diagnostic assessments and drawing on knowledge of culture and behaviour frameworks to design and delivery effective interventions.
The candidate:In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following experience:
  • Detailed knowledge of a complex business environment and direct hands on in understanding the management structures, politics and culture of the organisation owning the change.
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts (e.g. digital transformation).
  • Senior stakeholder management including C level.
  • Displays high levels of emotional intelligence; empathises and influences to resolve issues and drive shared thinking towards a common goal.
  • Have excellent engagement and communication skills to sell the vision of the change project/programme.
  • Change management certification is desirable (e.g. CCMP, Prosci).
  • Previous experience on large-scale projects/programmes and/or managing change at a portfolio level.
  • Ability to articulate, communicate and work with all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver lasting change at an organisational level.
