Job Description

Role ProfileRole DescriptionThe role is for a Business Analyst specialising in IBM Business automation workflow to support ongoing workflow projects. A BA with proven delivery experience working on complex organisational and cross functional workflows. The role involves close liaison with Business and Technology stakeholders to analyse, design and implement workflows that deliver benefits as defined in the Business case.Key Responsibilities

  • Modelling Business Processes to BPMN 2.0 standards ideally in IBM Blueworks Live (BPMN 2.0)
  • Moving candidate processes from IBM Blueworks Live to Business Automation Workflow
  • Analysing the Business Process asis’ state and identifying/recommending opportunities for automation
  • Measuring Business Process Performance - such as throughput time, cycle time, SLAs
  • Producing Business Cases for approved improvements, driving priorities for implementation
  • Maintaining a process backlog - working with the Business and Technology to prioritise and select the candidate processes for improvement
  • Designing Dashboards to enable the Business to track and monitor process performance
  • Eliciting requirements for process improvement, running stakeholder workshops
  • Documenting functional requirements for the selected processes
  • Working with the Business and Technology to design and document the targetstate’ (tobe’) for the candidate processes
  • Working closely with the Business and Technology throughout the lifecycle of the project - performing UAT, testing workflow solution
  • Managing stakeholders
  • Using LSStoolkit to identify process improvements
  • Implementation of Business solutions using the IBM Business Automation Workflow tool
  • Articulate, creative, energetic person able to work alongside the team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and oral communications as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish credibility and build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders at all levels
  • Results driven, self-motivated, problem solving, and solutions oriented; takes pride in his/her work
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude, exhibits self-confidence, leadership and adaptability to business change
  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, presentation and time management skills; ability to manage business expectation
  • Candidate Profile / Key Skills
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience using IBM Business Automation Workflow to deploy Business solution on large scale projects
  • Understands process centric approach to identifying Business improvements
  • Ideally certified in LSS (Green or Black Belt)
  • Ideally holds IBM Certification for Business Automation Workflow
  • Strong analysis skills and experience of identifying and implementing process improvements within the Financial sector using IBM Business Automation workflow
  • Strong and proven soft’ skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, accurate, concise, engaging and thorough manner to stakeholders across the board.
  • Experience working in a market data centric and operations role, ideally in a financial services institution.
  • Knowledge of Index Products and Services would be advantageous.
