Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst! Our client provide an end-to-end service that helps manufacturing and construction organisations use data to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You will be collaborating with staff throughout the full deliverylifecycle. Collaborating with the Director of Delivery, you will understand and analyse user/ business needs to ensure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy. You will facilitate collaboration and lead effective communication betweenclients and the delivery team to define solutions and co-ordinate design, implementation and testing activities in line with expectations and requirements.You will do/be:

  • You will gain experience working with exceptional people on exciting and innovative projects with some of the biggest companies in the manufacturing industry.
  • Lead the project team through the full life cycle of a project.
  • Take responsibility for requirements definition on complex software projects.
  • Understand the needs of users and priorities of local teams
  • Defining and prioritising new features, enhancements and fixes
  • Ensuring an excellent and intuitive user experience
  • Producing and managing functional documentation, wireframes and acceptance criteria
  • Managing scheduling and helping to plan the development sprint
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst
  • Exceptional analytical skills and able to write clearly.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally to understand their needs and translate these into workable models
  • Ability to analyse and document user requirements and create functional documentation
  • Excellent organisational skills
Bonus points if you have... (but not essential!)
  • Experience of IT in the UK manufacturing industry
  • Experience using Jira or similar software
  • Understanding of user-centred design concepts
  • Experience working in an Agile and fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude & ability to build relationships quickly
