Job Description

Position title - Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting Product Management Location - London Business Function - Product Development Department - Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions Department overviewS&P Global Market Intelligences Global Regulatory Reporting Solutions (GRRS) offers a centralised hub for pairing trades, exchanging key information and assisting clients to meet their regulatory reporting obligations. Position summaryS&P Global Market Intelligences GRRS team is looking for a senior business analyst to join their applications product team which is responsible for the GRRS and SFTR platforms. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working in regulatory reporting, hands-on business analysis skills and experience of data analytics and data visualisation. Candidates should understand the full product lifecycle (market analysis, concept,requirement definition through launch) and be comfortable interacting constantly with internal teams (development, client account management, Professional Services, Business Development, Sales) as well as with external clients to ensure the successful launchof new functions and to continually improve the client experience. As a senior business analyst, activities will include understanding client and regulatory requirements (through customer engagement, the client account management team and industry forums), translating requirements into product features and system requirements, collaborating with the development teams and providing training and documentation internally to the Operational teams and externally to customers. Focus will be on both the core operational platforms and client data analytics/BI products. Key Responsibilities

  • Work on enhancements across both operational portal and BI / analytics platform
  • Define Product requirements - from high-level concept to detailed functional requirements
  • Work with development and QA teams to design and develop solutions to meet business requirements
  • Provide business, technical and product expert knowledge in support of pre-sales activities and the customer support team
  • Educate clients and client account management team on existing and new product features and how those features can support clients business growth
  • Input into development of product roadmap and product direction
Business competencies
  • Bachelor or masters degree
  • 5+ years experience in financial markets business or fintech
  • 3+ years experience in Product Management / Business Analysis role
  • Relevant experience of regulatory reporting regimes
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in BI tools
  • Database query skills / SQL, XML an advantage
