Job Description

Join us as a Senior Business Analyst

  • Were looking for a talented subject matter expert with a passion for delighting customers, to help us simplify our business model and accelerate digital transformation
  • Joining our new CRM team, youll be designing and provisioning memorable, customer-centric engagement experiences
  • Hone your business analysis techniques, in this fast-paced and collaborative role
    • What youll doIn your new role, youll be managing the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan bank requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles. Well look to you to establish new business analysis practices and co-design new ways of working and experiences for the customers that we serve. In the course of your work, youll have the opportunity to work across the wider Data Analytics, Cloud centre of excellence and Customer Insight teams to join up end-to-end business processes, helping RBS International make data inspired and informed decisions. Youll also:
  • Apply agile ways of working and you help produce user persona designs, user story development and test driven development approaches
  • Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Identify and support cut-over and implementation tasks
  • Trace and link business requirements to future state design
  • Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing
    • The skills youll needYoull need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. Additionally, youll have an analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work. Youll also need:
  • Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
  • A background of delivering business analysis in a technology or IT function
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
