Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to be part of a key technology transformation workstream for a cortical National Payments System settling £Billions of daily payments for a major UK Bank. Working with the Project Managerand Lead Business Analyst, you will shape and agree the business design artefacts required for the work stream, designing and lead workshops with stakeholders from the programme and wider Bank to secure buy-in to the work stream and elicit requirements. Circa£53k plus bonus, benefits, great pension and the chance to make a real impact. Remote / hybrid working from London (City). 23 month Fixed Term Contract.Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst include:* Assisting the Project Manager in incorporating Business Analysis deliverables in planning activity, gathering customer needs from Bank stakeholders, predominantly in a workshop environment, to create design artefacts including business processes and requirements. * Translating customer needs into artefacts required for Agile delivery including User Stories, Epics and Features, working closely with the Product Owner(s) to ensure that Agile artefacts reflect customer needs and priorities. * Communicating agreed artefacts to technical architecture and development teams to ensure outputs meet customer needs, playing a key role in the use of tooling (predominately Jira) to maintain traceability and the drum beat of delivery within the team.Key skills required:* Recent experience of working as a Business Analyst on a large-scale Programme to challenging timescales, working in both Waterfall and Agile/ Scale Agile delivery environments on a large-scale programme. Experience of effective working within a Scrum teamenvironment. * Strong and demonstrable exposure to gathering, analysing and accurately documenting business and solution requirements using business process models (BPMN), use cases, user stories, business rules, UML etc. * Understanding and experience of having worked across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on a large-scale Programme.Desirable Criteria:* Previous experience of CRM implementations working within an Agile environment, ideally using Microsoft Dynamics. * Awareness and interest in trends across wider technology e.g. Cloud, FinTech, Block chain, predictive analytics, Big Data, cyber security, API, ISO etc, and working with both in-house and third-party stakeholders to deliver. * Agile/ Scaled Agile certification (e.g. Scrum Master/Product Owner, SAFE Framework 5.0 equivalent) and ISEB / BCS BA Diploma certified, IIBA certification (e.g. CBAP) or equivalent. In return, this role offers a base salary of up to £53,950 plus excellent benefits including:* A non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/95th of your annual salary for every year worked.
