We are searching for Senior Business Analyst to join the delivery team at one of the worlds leading providers of reinsurance, primary insurance and insurance-related risk solutions. The group consists of the reinsurance and ERGO businesssegments, as well as the capital investment company MEAG.The company is also playing a key role in driving forward the digital transformation of the insurance industry, and in doing so have further expanded our ability to assess risks and the range of services that we offer.Main focus:The Business Analyst role will be an integral member of the delivery team working closely with stakeholders across the business to support delivery of outcomesFacilitation and translation of business requirements into easily understandable deliverablesUnderstanding technology landscapes and vendors across eco-systemsResponsibilities:Work in alignment with external partners ways of working including specific tools e.g. JIRA/Confluence/DevOpsContribute to product roadmaps and backlog refinement/ requirements/story elaborationResponsible for mapping of end to end customer journeyProduce and manage requirements/user stories and acceptance criteriaEnsure interfaces between all partners, service providers and internal stakeholders are understood,Support internal project workstreamsWork in alignment with testing colleagues to define test scope and strategyYou are required to comply with the PRA and FCA conduct rulesEssentialDemonstrable ability in business analysis and associated tools /techniquesExcellent stakeholder management skillsStrong communication, facilitation, presentation & negotiation skillsAbility to build and sustain strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersUnderstanding of wider business goals and the impact business analysis has on themKnowledge of insurance policy administration, policy lifecycles and workflowsExperience writing user stories and acceptance criteriaMust thrive in a fast-paced, time-compressed and dynamic environmentAbility to work independently and take responsibility for delivery of requirementsDesirableKnowledge of the insurance marketExperience with Agile methodologies, especially Agile ScrumKnowledge of the Software Development LifecycleExperience with Story MappingUnderstanding of RESTful APIsExperience conforming product definition to regulatory compliance requirementsSounds like you Please apply and we will get back to you!
