Want to know more An exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst has arisen within the Identity and Authentication Lab which has recently been mobilised to provide a centralisedAuthentication platform as a service. Developed to meet the Strong Customer Authentication regulatory commitments, the platform uses innovative technologies that is not just the bank of the future, but industry trailblazing. Authenticators such as AppSign,Call Challenge, Behavioural Biometrics, Strong ID, Card and Reader use the newest technologies across desktop, mobile, cloud, machine learning, Microservices etc. Our mission The Authentication platform is the front door to the bank; whether customers arelogging on, making a payment, changing personal details, or shopping online, this platform and the colleagues building and running it will ensure a positive and secure customer experience whilst providing assurance that their money is safe. As a Senior Business Analyst, within a feature team youll work with business and IT partners atall levels. Key to this role is the ability to work autonomously, holistically, and critically assess situations and solutions. Heres how youll make a difference: Applying your technical and business insight to elicit requirements whilst working closely with product and engineering teams to define detailed Epics and User-StoriesBringing to life your banking experience to help frame, create and build innovative services in line with the Labs vision Using your proven experience to drive forward change to achieve the Labs Objective Key Results. About You A dynamic and adaptable individualwho can use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstances. Adept at providing sophisticated analytics, research advice, recommendations and using your own judgement As a natural facilitator and decision-maker, youll enable collaboration across allfields within the Lab A skilled negotiator and problem solver who will influence positively A natural leader wholl mentor and support colleagues to deliver best in classs change Have the confidence to constructively challenge decisions when relevant Demonstratingsimilar values and behaviours to our Groups and encouraging this in team members. What wed like to see from you Essential: Significant ability in business analysis, methodologies, and techniques Proficient in Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban and havingextensively used JIRA and Confluence Modelling - develop, define & document As Is & To Be process models and data definitions and knowledge of testing methods including BDD, TDD and A/B Exposure to defining non-functional requirements and writing technicalspecifications, performing data analysis, and assisting in root cause analysis, as well as experience analysing and presenting data and identifying trends Evidence of mentoring and coaching other team members whilst handling a project of work An understandingof engineering concepts including Microservices, APIs, databases, JSON, cloud etc Were keen on someone that has some knowledge and understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); significant experience working closely with engineers, ability to converse intheir language and exposure to systems thinking, business architecture and agile change delivery. Desirable: Have a very good understanding of back-end, web, and mobile app technology Deep technical skills including SQL, Open API (Swagger or other) Understandingof DevOps concept and hands on experience of Route To Live (RTL) activities Exposure to multiple subject areas such as banking, fraud, security, process design, digital, governance, compliance and banking governance models is desirable but not essential Wedwelcome someone that has BCS Business Analysis, SAFe, GCP and/or Fraud Prevention and Authentication certifications.
