Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

Global Luxury Real Estate client seeks a detail oriented, client facing Business Analyst to join the team.This is an exciting opportunity to join the Projects Department based in their London Head office. In this position you will own and oversee a number of projects and you will be responsible for ensuring the client deliveries successful and high value Projectsand Programmes. Line management may feature.ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:Process Analysis

• Observe and analyse current work practices to identify areas for improvement
• Work with the business to identify the various personas that need to be explored due to the diversity of the client.
• Use data-driven improvement approaches (eg. DMAIC- Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control)
• Undertake Process mapping, Value stream mapping, Waste Walks etc.
• Use appropriate technologies to understand how users interact with our platforms whilst completing processes.
• Recommend to management changes that can cut waste from operating proceduresthis will include process and technical changes
• Deploy appropriate techniques for problem solving / root cause analysis and support teams to solve problems
• Ensure appropriate measures are in place to baseline (as is) forecast (via pilot) and then track delivery of measurable business benefits from process (and system) changes
• Enhance processes to embrace error proofing (poka yoke)
• Identify and help specify appropriate visual management, where its introduction will help improve process efficiency and client experience.
• Define and implement suitable monitoring approaches to ensure successful improvements are sustained over time.
• Facilitate appropriate change sign off through effective stakeholder engagement and management.
• Interact with front line staff with confidence, building rapport quickly and fostering trust
• Comfortably interact with senior stakeholders, concisely sharing findings and overview of changes and benefits forecast
• Where reviews identify technical solutions, defining the Themes / Epics / User Stories / Requirements to drive a solution.
• Understand existing technology and data capability and bring in recommendation of new technology if required to support process improvement/automation

Professional experience and personal skills profile

• A confident, articulate self-starter who has proven experience in business analysis and process/system redesign
• Proven ability to quickly learn about a business area, its processes and its business imperatives and then apply this knowledge to project definition and delivery
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold relevant Business Analysis qualifications, such as: APMP International - BA, Agile BA Practitioner, BCS Certificate in Business Analysis / Modelling Business Processes / Requirements Engineering etc.
• In addition Six Sigma or Lean (Green or Black belt) accreditation would be beneficial, but is not assential
• Experience of other project disciplines (Testing etc) is always beneficial but again not essential

Career Experience

• Substantive experience as Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst
• Experience of working on both business and technical projects
• Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall models
