Job Description

Cobalt is seeking a Senior Building Manager for a Grade A commercial development in the heart of Londons West End - matching sleek urban design, with quality amenities, all of which culminate into a first-class property experience for the developments occupiers.Our client is a well-known, expanding property management business who has been making a name for themselves at the top-end of the real estate market by taking on larger, modern developments in recent years, with this development as one of the crown jewelsin the London portfolio.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and mentoring an Assistant Facilities Manager, developing them to the next level of their FM career;
  • Ensuring full H&S compliance throughout the building;
  • Liaising with key stakeholders including occupiers and the client in order to deliver a top tier total FM service;
  • Managing the work of external suppliers for hard and soft services;
  • Overseeing a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance service;
  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;
  • Promoting sustainability throughout the development.
As the successful applicant, youll be able to demonstrate leading and shaping a modern Building Management service in a large-scale commercial asset previously. An IOSH or NEBOSH is essential, as is experience managing a multi-let asset including plantrooms and common areas.
