Senior Broker - Medical Malpractice and HealthcareCity of London£70,000 - £80,000 (negotiable) + performance-based bonusA specialist and rapidly growing Lloyds insurance Broker with a worldwide portfolio of clients is seeking a Senior Broker to join its Professional Liability team and specialise in Medical Malpractice and Healthcare.The team have been researching and making inroads in this niche over the last few years and have built a small book of business to inherit (US is the main focus as well as some international). The Senior Broker will be expected to grow this book (by approx.£10k income per month) whilst placing the business. The role will involve international travel to meet with Producing Brokers, cedants and clients to generate new business and enhance existing relationships. For the right candidate, there is opportunity tobuild and mentor a team underneath them and step up into a leadership role in time.The team see lots of enquiries but relationships with Producers would be highly valued. They are looking for a self-motivated, confident and outgoing individual with a good level of US market experience, strong relationships with Underwriters and knowledgeof Medmal/ Healthcare products.
