Job Description

A leading FS insurance brand are looking for an interim Senior Brand Manager to join for a 15 month FTC. Fast moving role.Client DetailsSpecialist insurance brand. They are looking for someone to be the guardian of the companys brand, managing the brand strategy and value proposition, setting visual identity and brand guidelines and measuring the success of the brand.Description

  1. Work with the Head of Brand, to develop and deliver the companys brand strategy, creating a brand position and strategic narrative which delivers competitive advantages for the market and resonates with stakeholders globally.
  2. Translate that position into strong brand messaging, tone of voice and a modern brand visual identity and tone of voice.
  3. Create and manage the brand architecture system and associated sub brands and co-branding approach. Champion/drive initiatives that support delivery of the brand position.
  4. Support the development of brand building strategies across all marketing and communications channels working with other Brand, Marketing & Communications leaders.
  5. Maintain a brand protection policy managing trademarks and brand infringement issues.
  6. Engage and educate employees to drive brand understanding and support so they become effective brand advocates. Chair the internal brand forum overseeing brand quality and consistency with internal stakeholders.
  7. Conduct regular analysis around brand measurement and insight. Analyse results and feed back into brand strategy.
  8. Provide brand consultancy and best practice advice to senior brand, marketing and communications stakeholders in the market on usage and optimisation of the brand to complement their own brand strategies.
  9. Monitor measure and manage brand health, strength and equity making adjustments to the strategy as needed.
  10. Ensure creative partners and marketing/ communications professionals are delivering to the brand standards and chair the creative counsel to oversee quality and consistency.
The Brand team is responsible for defining the brand strategy, as well as the core value proposition, as well as and product and service value propositions. It creates the visual identity and tone of voice, defining the guidelines for brand usage and activation, with the aim of creating a seamless brand experience for all audiences across all channels. The team also leads on the co-branding approach and is responsible for is responsible for delivering high quality thought leadershipThe Brand team sets the core brand narrative and value proposition, which is then activated globally via brand programmes, thought leadership marketing and communications campaigns. The team is responsible for brand measurement and insight also.Profile
  • A proven track record in a brand management role working directly with senior stakeholders.
  • Significant B2B brand and marketing experience, in professional and/or financial services sector
  • Experience managing internal and external client relationships in a business to business environment.
  • Experience of leading new initiatives: identifying problems, devising solutions and leading implementation.
  • An experienced agency manager who secures excellent results and value for money
  • Ability to influence behaviours and perceptions without formal authority
  • Able to advise and support stakeholders at all levels of seniority, establish trust and credibility and build internal and external networks.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Creative and proactive, contributing ideas and seeing them through to delivery.
  • Client service mentality, able to offer an account management philosophy to working with other departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal persuasion skills
  • Creative insight and development balanced with commercial perspective
